The origins of this piece are a little more obscure. While the figure is bound to her alter, I never really saw
her as a sacrifice. I'm thinking that perhaps this is just part of the ceremony and eventually she is unchained.

| first base faux finished w/ mullberry paper |
This piece was unusual because I created the base and the figure at the same time.This was the first time
I made a faux finished base. The base is green foam covered with mulberry paper. Because the figure is about 6 inches tall,
I used metallic embroidery floss and only a few strands of beads for the hair. I didn't want to overwhelm the figure completely.
