My interest in hybrid figures is fueled by my love of mythology. I enjoy thinking that these creatures are happy with who they are even if they are different.

Singing Dragons
 
The wings of these dragons are wire that is fabric wrapped. The inserted colors are hand stitched into each section to create a stained glass effect.

While I don't know alot about Opera, I love the theatrics of it. When I made these dragons, they just cried out for operatic names. I was happy to oblige them.
